O Emmy 2024, principal premiação da televisão americana, acontece neste domingo (15), em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos.
Apresentado pelos atores Eugene Levy e Dan Levy (pai e filho em "Schitt's Creek" e na vida real), o evento pode ser assistido no canal por assinatura TNT Brasil e pela plataforma Max, às 21h.
"Xógum" é a líder de indicações do ano, com 25. Inclusive, a série já ganhou 14 categorias técnicas do Emmy, que foram distribuídas nos dias 7 e 8. Com isso, bateu o recorde de maior número de vitórias de uma mesma temporada — e ainda é uma das grandes favoritas da cerimônia principal.
"The Bear" aparece em segundo, com 23. Destes, já ganhou sete.
Os programas e séries precisam ser exibidos entre 1ª de junho de 2023 e 31 de maio de 2024 para poderem concorrer a esta edição.
Esta é, na verdade, a segunda premiação da Academia de Televisão realizada em 2024, já que a edição de 2023 foi adiada por causa das greves dos sindicatos dos roteiristas e dos atores e só aconteceu em janeiro.
